Meet Dr. Deborah Brazeal

My name is Dr. Deborah Virginia Brazeal. I am a professor and practicing entrepreneur specializing in creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. My vision for Life Design originates in my unflinching belief in the untapped potential for an extraordinary life in others. Whether you want to take your business to the next level, you are a budding entrepreneur or you want to change your identity and rebrand yourself, Life Design is customized for your unique experience.

I also offer corporate workshops for executives that that feel stuck and need a breath of creativity in their companies. I will help you create corporate structures and reward systems to build corporate cultures supportive of innovation and keep you on the cutting edge of technology.

Expertise

Dr. Brazeal's area of expertise is entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation. She is a noted author, speaker and consultant on how companies develop and use a self-sustaining corporate culture to support a continuous stream of radical innovations. She has published over 50 articles in elite peer-reviewed journals, spoken at over 60 national and international conferences and received awards for her contribution to the field of entrepreneurship.
Dr. Brazeal was V.P. and board member of Deep-Sea Research (DSR) and Transoceanic Research Group (TRG) where she prepared business plans and presentations to help secure investor funding for deep-sea operations. While Dr. Brazeal was V.P. of DSR, the company located California's oldest shipwreck, the Brother Jonathan.
She worked for Cerius Consulting, where she helped entrepreneurs formulate business plans and pitch decks to procure funding from venture capitalists. Dr. Brazeal participated in the venture forums, leading to the successful launch of many ventures under her tutelage. She has also served in many Not-for-Profit organizations helping entrepreneurs make it to the finish line.
Dr. Brazeal served as Chief Creative Officer for Kolena, an EdTech company. She managed creative content and presentations for Kolena clients. Finally, she delivered many creativity workshops to executives, including a seven-year stint for the Club Management Association of America at the Jonathan Club in downtown L.A.
Dr. Brazeal received both her B.S. in Psychology and her PhD in Business from the University of Alabama. She graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the "Distinguished Undergraduate Scholar Award" for attaining the highest G.P.A. in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is a Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi scholar.
